REMOVABLE PARTIAL DENTURES
Removable partial dentures are one alternative to replace multiple missing teeth. Although removable partial dentures generally are less expensive, fixed bridges, when indicated, may feel more stable and comfortable. (see fixed bridges)
- Partial dentures have replacement teeth attached to gum-colored plastic bases connected by a metal frame work.
- They may attach to your natural teeth with metal clasps.
- They could also be attached with devices called precision attachments, this is called a claspless removable bridge, which may provide better support and esthetics.
